Daniel Schwartz is a Co-Managing Partner of 3G Capital, an investment management firm investing in firms internationally and reaching new heights with their portfolio companies. As well as investing in Brazilian companies, he helps run his family’s company. 3G Capital contributes to different industries, such as energy and health care. Today he focuses on healthcare, where they are looking at a company’s assets with a value of over $7 billion.
Business expert Daniel Schwartz works with the other Co-Managing Partners, Jorge Paulo Lemann, and Carlos Alberto Sicupira. He graduated from Columbia University in 1989 with a degree in psychology but planned to become a serial entrepreneur until he discovered he did not have a passion for it. He is pleased to have been inspired by his father, Charlie Schwartz, who was also an entrepreneur. Schwartz is the owner of “Longueuil,” which is a sports and recreation club in Santo André, Brazil. The Longueuil Club was founded in 1982 and had over 7,000 members. Daniel Scwartz explains that it offers members various services such as physical education, social clubs, professional training courses, and even health clubs.
